The Charlotte Hornets, without Nicolas Batum, fought back into their 2016 NBA Playoffs first round series against the Miami Heat and they managed to win game three at home after managing to slow down the high-powered Heat offense. The got the win behind some stellar performances from Kemba Walker, Jeremy Lin coming off the bench and the rookie Frank Kaminsky coming into his own in his first playoff appearance.
Batum went down in game two with an ankle injury and it has been feared that he may miss the remainder of the series with this injury and it’s an issue that dramatically could hurt the Hornets in the long run. For now, nothing is official outside of Batum’s status for game four and he will miss the game.
