The duo of Al Jefferson and Kemba Walker was too much for the Denver Nuggets to handle Monday night as Charlotte cruised to a 110-82 win.
The Hornets one-two punch of Jefferson and Walker combined for 40 points, and helped the Hornets extend their winning streak to three.
This is also the third game in which Lance Stephenson, who’s been mentioned in many trade rumors, has not played for due to an injury.
Stephenson will be out for at least one more game, but the Hornets seem to be playing their best basketball without him in the lineup.
The Hornets started this game off fast and never looked back, as they took an 18 point lead into halftime. The games final result was set in stone before the fourth quarter even began, that Steve Clifford got to rest his major stars for the final 12 minutes of regulation.
Ty Lawson was the lone bright spot for Denver, finishing with 18 points.
