H.E.R is one of the most uniquely successful R&B artists of the new generations. Despite having a more low key persona in the social media era, the California native has managed to emerge as one of the most critically acclaimed singer-songwriters of today. Throughout the year, she’s continued to build her catalog with the release of two short projects which included songs like “As I Am”, “Could’ve Been” and “Feel A Way”. As a result of her hard work over the past year, she’s earned nominations for “Best Album of the Year” and “Best New Artist”.
In addition to being a two-time nominee, H.E.R is one of the featured artists selected to perform at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. In her first appearance on stage at the ceremony, the R&B artist tore down the stage with a phenomenal performance of “Hard Place”. Supporting her, H.E.R was backed by an incredible choir to seal the deal.
