
Heather Parry of Live Nation and A Star Is Born has been placed on leave after allegations of verbal abuse have become public. According to multiple reports, the Live Nation film and TV production chief has allegedly exhibited a pattern of verbally abusive behavior that has greatly affected employees of the large entertainment company. As stated in one report, Parry’s behavior has been so toxic that employees have “have endured health problems and have had to seek therapy.” Another report contained a letter from an employee that described Parry as an “abusive monster”.
Following the debacle, Live Nation issued a statement that read, “At Live Nation we pride ourselves on having an open, accessible and inclusive culture. We take all employee complaints seriously and have retained a third party to investigate.” The statement went on to read, “We have placed Ms. Parry on leave during this time.”
Over the course of her career, Parry has been one of the most well known figures in film and television. Over her career, she has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga and Sean Combs. Most recently, Parry played an integral role in the making of the Oscar hopeful, A Star Is Born.
Parry has yet to issue a statement in response to these allegations.
