Jameer Nelson has been quite the journeyman this season in the NBA. He started the season as a member of the Dallas Mavericks, was traded to Boston as a part of the Rajon Rondo deal and then he was sent from the Celtics to the Denver Nuggets for Nate Robinson in a separate deal.
Now it seems, according to reports, that Nelson might be getting moved again from Denver and this time it would be to a playoff contender back out in Nelson’s old stomping ground of the Eastern Conference Southeast Division.

Wizards, Heat have explored talks on Denver's Jameer Nelson, sources tell RealGM. Cleveland had interest with Nelson in Boston; not since.

Nelson would upgrade the Heat’s travesty at the point guard position because Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole have not played well at all the entire season. Nelson could bring some consistency and stability on a night-to-night basis for Miami.
Sending to him to Washington as a rotation point guard, joining Andre Miller off the bench does increase the Wizards ability to give different teams looks on any night and Nelson off the bench, as a scoring point, could help hold down the fort when Wall comes off the court for a rest.
Denver Nuggets need to sell right now while they can and get the most from the assets they do have that other teams highly covet and seem to need to help their team get better for a playoff push.
