Miami Heat officially announce what we’ve all feared for a while now.
Heat 10-time NBA All-Star and 2-time NBA champion Forward Chris Bosh will miss the remainder of the season due to blood clots in his lungs.
The announcement through a Miami Heat official team statement.
The Miami HEAT announced today that Chris Bosh will miss the remainder of the 2014-15 Season, while being treated for blood clots on his lung.
Bosh, who is receiving care under the guidance of Miami HEAT team physicians at a Baptist Health System Hospital, is currently resting comfortably. Chris is OK and his prognosis is good.
Horrible news to hear, especially considering the potential that this team has due to the recent acquisition of point guard Goran Dragic.
The potential trio of Dragic, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh may just have to wait until next season to come to fruition due to Bosh being out.
It’s a scary incident to occur especially after earlier in the season when it was discovered that Brooklyn Nets forward Mirza Teletovic also had blood clots in his lungs and also, the tragic loss of an NBA great in Jerome Kersey earlier this week who died due to blood clots traveling to his lungs.
Of course, Bosh’s personal health comes first, so all well wishes to him in a speedy recovery as well as his family and Miami Heat family.
