HBO has made the call to bring back A Black Lady Sketch Show for a fourth season.
“Robin, Gabrielle, Ashley, and Skye brought so much life to each character they portrayed in every sketch,” Amy Gravitt of HBO told Deadline.
“We’re beyond excited to explore even more comedic worlds with a fourth season of A Black Lady Sketch Show.”
Led by Robin Thede, the Emmy-winning sketch series turns everyday experiences into hysterical comedic bits. Throughout each season, Thede pulls in a number of comedic actors, including Gabrielle Dennis, Ashley Nicole Black and Skye Townsend. Quinta Brunson, Issa Rae and Tyler James Williams have also appeared on the show.
“A Black Lady Sketch Show has created an indelible mark thanks to the trust and support of the incredible team at HBO,” Thede added.
“We are ecstatic to be heading into a fourth season that means so much to our cast, crew and the dedicated audience who so passionately loves our show.”
Season three of A Black Lady Sketch Show ended on May 13, 2022. A new season should be in the works in the coming months. Stay tuned for more updates.
