April was a big month for HBO. They released the 8th and final season of Game of Thrones and that continues throughout this month with a few more episodes left. They also continue some other key series like Veep and Barry but the best part is all the new stuff coming.
Without further ado, here’s everything coming to HBO this May.
Deadwood
A continuation of the Emmy-winning series with the same title, HBO will be bringing David Milch’s acclaimed back to life with ‘Deadwood’. The film version is set to debut on May 31st, 2019.
Chernobyl
This series dramatizes the story of the 1986 nuclear accident, one of the worst man-made catastrophes in history. Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsga?rd, Emily Watson, Paul Ritter, Jessie Buckley, Adrian Rawlins and Con O’Neill all-star in the 5-part series releasing on May 6th.
What’s My Name | Muhammad Ali
Float like a butterfly, Sting like a bee? Need I say more. HBO will be bringing a documentary detailing the moment in U.S history when Cassius Clay changed his name to Muhammad Ali and refused to serve in Vietnam. Documentary airs May 14th.
