HBO has confirmed two major actors have been cast so far for the second season of their hit show True Detective. Colin Farrell with play Ray Velcoro, “a compromised detective whose allegiances are torn between his masters in a corrupt police department and the mobster who owns him.” and Vince Vaughn as Frank Semyon, “a career criminal in danger of losing his empire when his move into legitimate enterprise is upended by the murder of a business partner.”
Season two will feature 8 episodes just like the first season and will be shot in Los Angeles.
