The Atlanta Hawks will waive veteran forward Mike Dunleavy, a source tells ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.
Dunleavy played in just 30 games with the Hawks this season, averaging 5.6 points per contest.

Dunleavy spent the first half of the 2016-17 season as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was traded midseason to the Hawks in a deal that brought Kyle Korver to Cleveland.
Atlanta had a Saturday deadline to make a decision on Dunleavy, who’s $5.2 million salary would’ve become guaranteed for next season.
A veteran sharpshooter who’s played for six teams during his NBA career, Dunleavy will attract interest from teams in need of a perimeter scoring boost. The Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs will likely be among his list of suitors.
