Humphries gives the Hawks added depth at forward and center, and they have plenty of looks.
Losing Al Horford was a serious hit to the versatility of Atlanta’s bigs. Dwight Howard has taken his place and brings a much different look at center. After retaining Humphries, there’s also Paul Millsap, Mike Muscala, Tiago Splitter, Mike Scott, and Walter Tavares vying for rotation minutes in the front court. Humphries’ physicality and solid shooting gives him a chance to crack the rotation.
