Atlanta Hawks wing DeAndre’ Bembry suffered a fractured wrist in the team’s 112-106 victory over the Boston Celtics on Sunday, and has an expected recovery time of 4-to-6 weeks, per Michael Cunningham of Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
Update: Source says injury happened Sun at BOS. From replay, appears Bembry jammed wrist against Jaylen Brown’s body in 3Q as they chased loose ball. Bembry stayed in game and played in Tues. finale. https://t.co/74FRAnq8op

Bembry was bombarded by multiple injuries this season – including the exact same wrist injury that kept him out at the beginning of the season, along with a strained triceps – and was limited to just 26 games this season in which he averaged 5.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists in over 17 minutes a game.
While Bembry’s sophomore campaign in the NBA was cut short by injuries throughout the season, the St. Joe’s product will have plenty of time to recover from his second fractured wrist this season, as his Atlanta Hawks failed to qualify for the playoffs with only 24 wins to their credit this season.
The Atlanta Hawks recently picked up Bembry’s $1.52 million team option, so it is safe to say he will be returning to the team next season as wing depth for the rebuilding Hawks.
