Miami Heat big man Hassan Whiteside has a bit of an attitude on him nowadays since he came back to the NBA.
Whiteside seemed a little funny and playful at first, talking about raising his 2k rating and having his story being told of his return to the NBA. As of late though, Whiteside has garnered a bit of a mean streak and is being a little rough on the court.
He recently got into it with Phoenix Suns big man Alex Len and even wrestled him down after the 2 got tangled in the paint.
Now, in a important matchup between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics, that pitted 2 teams fighting for a playoff spot, Whiteside commited a ridiculous foul.
A flagrant 2 foul to be exact on all-around nice guy, Kelly Olynyk for seemingly no reason. They were getting tangled up in the paint but it doesn’t mean that Whiteside should go after Olynyk, while he’s not looking and hit him dangerously behind his head.
Whiteside was fittingly ejected immediately for this action. There are fine lines you need to walk in the NBA. You can be a tough guy and get into people’s heads but when you start getting violent too often, teams don’t take kindly too that.
One of Whiteside’s Heat teammates might not have welcomed him with open arms either when the team went back to the locker room after the Heat lost to the Celtics.
Locker room staff inform us that Whiteside has already left the building

Udonis Haslem just stormed back to the locker room. I'm not sure why. But Whiteside might not like what's headed his way.
