Hassan Whiteside had a HUGE game against the Houston Rockets on Sunday. The young big man scored 25 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, had three steals and blocked two shots. The Rockets were without Dwight Howard on Sunday due to a scheduled rest in an attempt by the team to reserve his minutes.
Without Howard, the Rockets struggled to do anything against Whiteside and without Dwight, the often controversial and always animated Whiteside felt, ‘disrespected’ by the Rockets decision to bench Howard against him.
In the above video, Whiteside talked to the Miami Heat postgame crew and expressed his feelings after his huge game and you have to respect Whiteside for feeling slighted as he wasn’t able to play against one of the best big men in the NBA. The kid wants to prove himself this year and Sunday was another chance for Whiteside to get his 2k rating up.
