It’s Harrison Barnes’ year to make himself valuable. I mean just being with the Warriors makes him a tasty option in free agency. And the fact that the Warriors dipped a little because Harrison Barnes was out says something. It says to me that Barnes is good and deserves whatever he gets.
Tonight, according to ESPN.com, Barnes should return against the Charlotte Hornets.
“I’m feeling good,” said Barnes, who is listed as probable. “It’s been a long recovery process. Glad to finally be back on the court and playing on a game day.”
When asked if it was certain that he would play on Monday, Barnes reiterated, “Yeah. I plan to play.”
Barnes explained that the ankle sprain required more than a month of recovery because of the bone bruise.
“The bone bruise was the biggest hangup,” Barnes said. “That limited range of motion, ability to explode, all that type of stuff. That was kind of the unexpected part of why it took so long.“
I hate the sound of a bone bruise. When the pain goes down to the bone I just cringe. I’m glad he didn’t rush it, the Warriors are still sitting pretty as the best team in the league and they’ll be glad to have him back again.
