2 Chainz presented the best gift of all when he offered to pay a disabled vet’s rent for a whole year. Chainz has the T.R.U. Foundation, which recently did a deed that’ll make your heart melt. Disabled vet Deirdre Plater of Palmetto, Georgia, has been having problems getting a job and simply making ends meet. This has been going on for the past year, so, being the humanitarian that he is, 2 Chainz arrived at her apartment equipped with new furniture and offering to handle her rent for the year.
“Last week was my son’s birthday and his mentor sister brought us something to eat for Thanksgiving while dropping off money for some groceries and she noticed that we didn’t have any furniture in the house,” Plater stated.
“I guess that sparked my son’s mentor Mark Barnes to do something special for us and when he got the call from 2 Chainz about helping a family it all fell into place.”
One of the movers displayed his emotions and gratitude from the the whole ordeal.
