Just a year ago, Kentucky freshman, Hamidou Diallo was the talk of the 2017 NBA draft. This was even before he put on the Kentucky uniform. Many, including Diallo, believed that his first minutes on the basketball court after high school would be in an NBA uniform.
Even though many key factors could have easily helped him get to the NBA out of high school, Diallo decided to remove his name in the 2017 NBA Draft and become a Wildcat. But just a year later the Kentucky freshman has hired an agent and has declared for the 2018 NBA Draft.

Diallo was a key factor of this Kentucky squad playing about 25 minutes per game. In that time, the 6’5″ guard scored 10 points per game and collected around four rebounds per game.
Scouts see Diallo’s athleticism as the strongest point in his game. In the 2017 NBA Combine, Diallo recorded one of the best max vertical jumps in history soaring over 44 inches high. A familiar face, Diallo should be highly praised coming in June.
Diallo joins teammates Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kevin Knox, and PJ Washington as they all look to take the next step in their careers as they move forward into the 208 NBA Draft.
