On Friday, October 24, 2025, Halle Bailey released her debut solo studio album, Love? Or Something Like It. The 15-track project is led by the previously released singles “In Your Hands,” “Because I Love You,” “Braveface,” and “Back and Forth.” Along the musical exploration “love, heartbreak, and everything that comes after,” Bailey reunites with her sister, Chlöe, and also connects her with a few of the most dynamic women in music today, including H.E.R. and GloRilla.
“I really wanted it to just be women when it came to this album,” Bailey told Tetris Kelly of Billboard. “At least for the first drop because I feel like women, we understand each other, especially when it comes to love and heartbreak.”
After a string of starring roles in The Line, The Little Mermaid, The Color Purple, and Will Packer’s forthcoming Italiana, Love? Or Something Like It marks the GRAMMY Award-nominated act’s formal return. With a new Chloe x Halle album reportedly in the works and parts in three upcoming films, Bailey is positioned to cement herself as one of the premier double threats in all of entertainment.
