Brooklyn’s own VMG crew continues their streak of remixes which have subsequently become known as 3-Mix. Serving as an introduction to their newest member to the family, we get to hear what H McCloud has to offer. Hailing from Brooklyn himself, McCloud starts things off on a high note as for his first effort comes by way of his own series, McCloud Mix. Utilizing his brash delivery that we become acquainted with when you listen to this remix, he offers up his own version to Tory Lanez’s hit single “Say It”. Considering this is an introduction, I had no choice but to press play but keep a very open mind. This way I didn’t set expectations and would be able to judge McCloud’s effort fairly. Adding a different perspective to his “Say It” Remix than what you would expect for a record like this, it helped his version stand out from the many others you may come across.
Incorporating his persona that looks to come off as a “bad boy of R&B” so to speak, if he keeps this rapping/singing formula up there may be no ceiling for the Brooklyn native. I can say I am interested in hearing more from H McCloud just to see what else he has to offer and can he follow up this Say It Remix. Check out the track below and let us know what you guys think..
