Adam Sandler’s ‘Grown Ups 2’ leads the Razzie nominations this year with 8 noms including Worst Picture and Worst Sequel.
Sandler is also up for Worst Male in a Lead Role with Taylor Launtner and Salma Hayek also gaining nominations. This isn’t Sandler’s first brush with the Razzies. The actor made history by earning 10 nominations for his comedy ‘Jack and Jill’.
‘A Madea Christmas’, ‘Movie 43’, and ‘After Earth’ each tied for second place with each film earning 6 nominations a piece including Worst Picture.
Ashton Kutcher and Naomi Watts gain their first ever Razzie nominations in their not so well received portrayals of Steve Jobs and Princess Diana of Wales respectively.
The Razzies will be held on March 1, one night before the Oscars.
