When the clock strikes midnight, there won’t be any cinderella story in Los Angeles. Instead, there will be some very powerful people meeting in the city of angels with one of the best big men in the league. LaMarcus Aldridge will be taking meetings in reference to his free agency this summer.
In total, seven teams are expected to meet LaMarcus, including the San Antonio Spurs who are sending out all of their best people to talk LaMarcus into coming to San Antonio to take the reins from former MVP, Tim Duncan.

The market for LaMarcus Aldridge has hit a fever pitch. When it is 12:01, the Los Angeles Lakers will have the first shot at Aldridge and rounding out the meetings will be the New York Knicks.
While Aldridge reportedly has not ruled out the Portland Trail Blazers, it is being assumed that it will come down to the Blazers, Spurs and Lakers for Aldridge’s services. The favorites are the Lakers right now but it all can change in a blink of an eye. The Rockets and Mavericks are close on that list and the dark horses will be the Raptors, Knicks and Suns.
No matter what team ends up with Aldridge this summer, he will immediately change the fortunes of that franchise for the next couple years as he continues to perform well in his prime.
