Each day, media outlets flood consumers with dozens of stories about Donald Trump. Considering Trump has been one of the most divisive figures in United States history, it makes sense that there is such a media frenzy whenever he does or says anything. For example, there have been hundreds of stories published today about Donald Trump even though he isn’t running for re-election until November 2020. Furthermore, his family makes just as much news as he does. Hiding in the background, Mike Pence sits as the acting Vice President. While Mike Pence isn’t far off from Donald Trump politically, he does seem to skirt much of the media attention. In addition, his family does hide from much of the national media attention as well. However, those days may be quickly changing as Mike Pence’s brother, Greg Pence, will be heading into the spotlight very soon.

According to several projections, Greg Pence has won a congressional seat in Indiana’s sixth district. To be specific, he’s won the same exact seat his brother held before being elected Vice President of the United States. With his victory intact, Greg Pence’s most recent tweet reads, “Incredibly proud to have the opportunity to represent the 6th District in Washington, DC. I’m Ready to Serve, Again!” Instead of one Pence on Capitol Hill, the country will now have two from the Pence family involved in national discourse.
