The Detroit Pistons and Greg Monroe will most likely be parting ways this summer. Pistons fans, don’t get mad, it’s not me that is claiming this. According to Jared Zwerling:
Hearing that Greg Monroe has four or five meetings for free agency. East and West teams. One is the Knicks, a strong candidate.

None of these teams the #Pistons. https://t.co/YSzNOwvIbm

So now that we know that the probability of Monroe returning to Detroit is highly unlikely, where could Greg Monroe go? The Knicks, Lakers, Raptors, Cavaliers, Rockets, Celtics, Mavs will be the teams that seem to be looking for some size and some offensive fire power. Out of those teams the Knicks have the best shot at getting Monroe, because it’s New York and they can give him the money he ‘thinks’ he deserves. Kristaps, Melo, David West, and Monroe seems like a pretty good frontcourt for a team that didn’t win 20 games on the season. The Knicks are on their way up for sure, and the free agents they look to sign might improve them.
