Grant Hill will be 40 before the 2012-13 NBA season opens but that didn’t stop a number of teams from courting him. Los Angeles were the ones that won out though, not the Lakers where his good friend Steve Nash was pleading with him to sign, but the ‘other’ team, the Clippers.
The two parties are working on finalizing a deal that would tie Hill to the Clippers for the next two-seasons.
The Clippers have several ways to complete the deal, including through a sign-and-trade with the Phoenix Suns or using its bi-annual exception.
