
For over fifteen years, Gorillaz have occupied a unique lane within music. The British band is made up of virtual characters that are backed by the music of Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. During the course of the run, the band has racked up a Grammy Award, Brit Award, MTV Award and too many platinum plaques to count. Furthermore, the group has found a unique lane within the world of Hip-Hop culture. The English rock group has managed to collaborate with rap and R&B acts such as Ike Turner, MF Doom, Vic Mensa, Vince Staples, Pusha T, Anthony Hamilton and many more.
After taking a seven year break in between their fourth and fifth albums, the group is back with its second album in as many years. The Now Now is an eleven track album that features guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, George Benson and Jamie Principle. The album also features production from James Ford and Remi Kabaka.

The British group will hit the states on October 11th for a ten day run that will include stops Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles alongside Little Simz and The Internet, who also have an album out this summer.
