Goran Dragic might not be able to take the floor tonight with the Miami Heat to face off against his former team the Phoenix Suns.
Goran Dragic (back spasms) & Chris Andersen (illness) both missed this morning’s team shootaround & are listed as questionable for tonight.

Dragic did however answer reporters questions this morning about the Suns. Dragic goes on to explain how he regrets the way he handled things in his last days as a Phoenix Sun.
Do you feel good about the way it ended in Phoenix?
“I wish it would have gone differently. I’m never the guy who is going back in the past. What it is, it is. I’m always going to be grateful for what the organization and Robert (Sarver) and his family did for me. But I wish it ended on different circumstances.”
Do you regret how you handled it?
“Definitely. Maybe I came too harsh. I came out and said what I was feeling. I never said nothing about how it was a bad organization, just how I felt. Maybe I shouldn’t say that, but I’m an honest guy so I say what I feel. I felt that at that time.
“When I look back, it sounds harsh. It is what it is. I cannot correct this. The people who know me and were with me all those years, they know my personality. I never intended to do something to harm the organization or the people who were working with me.”Is there truth to the theory it was all orchestrated by your agent?
“No. I talked with Jeff before that and told him I was unhappy. He knows that. If he didn’t talk with those guys upstairs, then you know. My agent is working for me, so in the end I have the main power to decide what I’m going to do. They’re working for me. I said what I thought was the best thing for me, and unfortunately it came out like that.”How did you take it when McDonough called you selfish?
“It was hard, but I know that’s not true. That’s their opinion. I cannot do nothing else. Everybody has their own opinon. It’s a, how you say, free country. Everybody can speak freely and it is what it is.”
Dragic’s comments came as a shock to me when I first heard the news about his dissatisfaction with the Suns front office. He was never a player to just blast anybody to the media so when this interview was released him regretting also comes as no surprise.
Hopefully Dragic’s back feels good enough for him to face off against his old team tonight. I’m sure Suns management want to get back at Dragic as much as Dragic wants to excel against them to prove it was a huge mistake the front office made by losing his trust.
