Although Dragic was concerned about the injury, he felt relieved when he was told the injury was just some fluids. He also expects to feel better so he can come back to action next week. Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said that the team knew the injury wasn’t serious but something had to be done with it. Spoelstra has high hopes that the procedure and the rest will help Dragic to feel better on the court.
Coach Spo on Dragic’s knee injury: “We knew it wasn’t serious but we knew it was something that needed to be taken care of… hopefully we can take care of it and wipe it out right now.”

Dragic has been relatively healthy throughout his decade-plus in the NBA. After his rookie year, Dragic has never played less than 65 games in a season. The 2018 NBA All-Star has to come back soon if the Heat wants to correct their slow start.
So far this season Dragic averaging 16.3 points, 4.7 assists, and 3.3 rebounds in 30 minutes per game. Currently, the Heat sits 11th in the East with a 6-11 record following their home loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night. They have an upcoming road trip to Chicago and Toronto while Dragic is out.
