The Miami Heat will have a busy July. With the Draft coming tomorrow and free agency. Whoowee they’re going to earn their paychecks let me tell you that! Anyways, onto the free agency. As we know the Heat have a lot of people to take care of and not enough money to hook everybody up. Now when it comes to Goran Dragic, even though the Heat offered a 5-Year $80 Million deal, the Dragic camp expects a 5-Year deal in the $90-100 Million range.
Amid an ESPN report that the Heat will offer Goran Dragic a five-year deal in excess of $80 million, the Dragic camp expects the proposal to be five years for between $90 million and $100 million.
That’s less than the $115 million Miami can offer but more than the four years and $86 million that another team can offer. The Heat and the Dragic camp remain optimistic a deal will get done with Miami.
Now the important thing is the fact that the Heat can give Dragic money that nobody else can. I’m wondering if Dragic will take less so that DWade can get his $
I mean Wade is part of the reason that Dragic wants to stay no? So why not scratch the Heat’s back so that the Heat can scratch Wade’s back.
