The Gonzaga Bulldogs have lost their second starter with junior forward Brandon Clarke declaring for the 2019 NBA Draft. He is making the declaration with the intent of starting his pro basketball career and forgoing the rest of his college eligibility. The forward is projected as a top ten draft selection.
Beyond blessed for everything that Gonzaga has given me. This has easily been the best two years of my life, and I’ll forever be grateful for all the relationships I’ve built here. I am more than excited to work on my game even more in the next level. I will always be a Zag??? https://t.co/evqrM86O9F

The former Gonzaga Bulldog is listed at 6’8″ and 215 pounds. These measurements combined with his offense and defense could make him deadly on an NBA roster. He averaged 16.9 points and 8.6 rebounds in his junior season with Gonzaga. He also shot at a clip of 68.7 percent from the field.
The Bulldog has a great offensive game, but his defense sets him apart from other prospects in his class. He averaged 1.2 steals and a stellar 3.2 blocks a game during his third year in college basketball. Mark Few has continued to coach players into the NBA over the years.

There are NBA teams in the lottery that will miss out on the top five prospects, but the Gonzaga forward could prove to be one amazing consolation prize. His offense and defense will provide a great addition to NBA teams that need help on both ends of the court. Brandon Clarke is projected to get drafted seventh overall in the Def Pen 2019 NBA Mock Draft.
