Golden State Warriors might be the NBA’s best team, depending on who you talk to. So in typical top team fashion, rest is needed to keep up when the big challenges come around.
The Warriors haven’t had consecutive days off since the All-Star break and won’t have consecutive days off again until March 25 and 26. This is the first game of a back-to-back, and if he’s going to rest them, tonight would be the night since Golden State is playing the Denver Nuggets, who are far out of the playoffs. Warriors have a comfortable 7 game lead ahead of the second place Memphis Grizzlies, who also rested 4 regulars last night against the Wizards.
It’s just that Golden State will be resting 4 big names, much like the Grizzlies.
Following from Rusty Simmons of the San Fransisco Chronicle.
Bogut, Iguodala, Curry and Thompson will rest tonight.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson each only missed 1 game earlier this season, so they can bare to miss another game but the other 2 guys, Andrew Bogut and Andre Iguodala, are a little up there in age and have extended miles on their legs. The rest for Bogut and Iguodala is well deserved.
Warriors will be out a grand total of 5 regular players tonight once you include the suspension of Marreese Speights, so fantasy players will have a field day with this Warriors bench.
