Godzilla is planning another summer comeback.
Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have announced that ‘Godzilla 2’ will hit theaters on June 8, 2018.
It has already been confirmed that the iconic monsters Rodan, Mothra and Ghidorah will appear in the sequel with director Gareth Edwards returning to the franchise.
Before filming the sequel, Edwards is set to direct a ‘Star Wars’ spinoff set for release in 2016.
‘Godzilla’ hit theaters this May and starred Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, and Bryan Cranston and has currently taken in $507.7 million worldwide.
