After a tumultuous 2015, the New York Giants and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul were looking forward to moving on from the drama surrounding the former All-Pro. First things first, decide whether or not JPP would stay in New York.
Pierre-Paul ended up turning down more money from possible suitors in the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals to remain with the Giants, a team he has called home since being drafted by them in first round of the 2010 draft. The deal is reportedly only for one year, possibly to see what the pass rusher has left after his fireworks incident.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the following.
