Thursday nights Bulls vs. Bucks game certainly did not live up to the hype of an elimination game.
In fact it made you feel mislead if anything after The Bucks won two games in a row and looked to make a push to make The Bulls fight not to go to a game 7.
The Bucks small forward was clearly frustrated as well after Dunleavy pushed Michael Carter-Williams to the ground after a shot attempt and a play where Antetokounmpo get tied up Dunleavy delivers an elbow to his side.
Those two plays and a playoff blowout could’ve lead to this.
Normally I’d say it’s bush league and all that nonsense, but Dunleavy must have sent him over the edge. If you’re in Giannis’s shoes i respect him standing up for a teammate, but not at that time it needs to be done after the play not later on in the night.
With Giannis’s play ruled as a flagrant 2 I’d expect some sort of fine and suspension. Giannis is a player that is well liked around the league and the play was out of the ordinary for him.
Dunleavy though with the push to Carter-Williams may have been the final straw and Antetokounmpo may have seen enough.
