At the start of the millennium, Ghostface Killah shook things up with the release of his classic LP, Supreme Clientele. Complete with five-star tracks like “Nutmeg” and “Mighty Healthy” and features from the likes of Raekwon and Redman, among others, the project was not only critically acclaimed, but it was also certified Gold by the RIAA.
Twenty-five years later, Ghostface Killah has returned with the sequel, Supreme Clientele II. This time around, the New York-bred MC pairs familiar names like Raekwon, GZA, Method Man, and Nas with the voices of today’s generations like Conway The Machine and Nems. Furthermore, it blends the lyricism and gritty production that made Supreme Clientele special with the experience and wisdom of a veteran MC more than 25 years into his career.
“Supreme Clientele was a frame of mind and era in time. You could never duplicate that feeling, but you can tap back in,” he said. “We dug in the files from years ago and pulled together a Clientele that is Supreme! Get ready, Supreme Clientele 2 is now.”
