Gerald Henderson is the type of player that will score the ball for your team no matter the situation. The guy can flat-out score the ball. After spending one year with the Portland Trail Blazers, he has decided to take his talents to a team that could use the scoring, the Philadelphia 76ers. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, Henderson inked a deal with the 76ers for a 2-year, $18 million contract:

Henderson will add offensive fire power to a team that definitely needs some help in that category. As a veteran voice on the team, Henderson will be able to have a larger team role for the 76ers then what he did for the Blazers. For the Blazers, he averaged 8.7 points and 3 rebounds shooting off 43% from the field. Henderson will be joining a youthful cast of 1st overall pick Ben Simmons, Nerlens Noel, Jahil Okafor and Joel Embiid next year.
