Utah Jazz point guard George Hill will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, and he says that his decision will depend heavily on fellow UFA Gordon Hayward’s:
George Hill said Gordon Hayward's decision will factor into his decision: "He’s like my little brother now. … His heart is here in Utah."

Hill said this in his end of season interview
This was Hill’s first season with the Jazz, and – injuries aside – was the best season of his career. Hill averaged a career-high 16.9 points to go with 4.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game on 47.7 shooting from the field and 40.3 percent shooting from three-point range.
Hayward also had a career-year for the 51-win Jazz. He averaged career-best numbers in the following categories: Points per game (21.9), rebounds per game (5.4) and free throw percentage (84.4). He also shot 47.1 percent from the floor and 39.8 percent shooting from deep.
Hayward, who made his first All-Star team this year, will definitely command a max contract in free agency. Hill showed his value, and the right team could offer him the max (or close to it) as well.
Hayward will have many suitors (the Boston Celtics will likely be one). The Jazz want him to stick around; the fans have organized a #Stayward billboard campaign.
