Although the Wizards suffered a 106-90 Game 2 loss in Atlanta, it was nice to see Garrett Temple make his return to the Wizards rotation after missing two months due to a lingering hamstring injury. Temple did not make much of an impact in the loss, but at least he was able to push the hamstring enough to be able to play for 13 minutes. If he is able to make it through the playoffs without reinjuring the hamstring, Temple could be a key factor in certain situations down the stretch of games.
Garrett Temple only scored 2 points on 1/4 shooting, while also recording a rebound, and assist, and a steal. Once John Wall comes back, Temple’s role will decrease even more, and he may struggle to find his way onto the court. It will be interesting to see how effective Temple will be and if his hamstring will be able to hold up through the rest of the playoffs.
