Apparently fans will have to wait a little while longer to find out who will play Christian Grey.
Garrett Hedlund turned down the role because it was “too big of a commitment.” according to the US Weekly. Producers were unwilling to let Hedlund just sign on for one movie.
It seems Ian Somerhalder is out of the running as well as he was dismissed by author E.L. James.
The only confirmed details about the film is that it will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and is slated for an August 1, 2014 release date.
