When you hear of Compton and those that make it out of Compton, one of the things you hear the most is how hard it is to make it out. Those living in the Streets Of Compton will tell you, you’re tested from a young age until the day you get out. With such a rich history, A&E has decided to piece together a 3-part documentary on Compton starring The Game. The series will explain how the gangs and the drugs made Compton the iconic place that it is through the eyes of The Game, Richard Williams (father of Venus and Serena Williams), MC Eiht, N.W.A, Kendrick Lamar and more.
The first two parts of the documentary will be airing back-to-back on June 9th at 9 and 10 p.m EST. The third installment in the series will air on June 16 at 10 p.m with the soundtrack releasing the following day, June 17.
