HBO is currently in a state of change to say the least. Over the last week, the premium cable network has lost the services of its former CEO, Richard Plepler, and its former Head of Mini-Series, Kathy Antholis. In their absences, Warner Media has appointed Bob Greenblatt to oversee the premium cable network. With all of this going on behind the scenes, HBO is attempting to move forward with the release of a new season of Game of Thrones. Set to premiere on April 14th, the final season now has an official trailer.
HBO started off the first week of March the right way by releasing a trailer for the biggest show in the network’s history. During the trailer for this season of Game of Thrones, we get a glimpse of a major battle between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. We also get a small soundbite from Arya Stark. She says, “I know death.” She later adds, “He’s got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one.”
The epic final season will air in all of its glory next month. In the meantime, check out the trailer above and be sure to look out for previews and reviews from Def Pen.
