
FX has renewed their vampire led comedy series, What We Do In The Shadows, for a third season. The announcement comes as the series nears the midway point of the second season.
“We’re incredibly happy that critics and audiences are all in on Shadows,” FX President of Original Programming Josh Gad said.
“Week in and week out, the producers, writers and our amazing cast continue to make one of the funniest and best comedy series on TV,” he added.

Season two has kicked off to a major jump in viewership. According to FX, the show has an average total audience of 3.2 million. That is a 25% increase from season one.
When the show returns for a third season, stars Garrett Basch, Paul Simms, Scott Rudin and Stefani Robinon are expected to return. Behind the scenes, the show will likely be led by current show runners Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement.
