The nominations for the 68th Annual Emmy Awards have been announced and the field is wide open with veterans and standout newcomers. See the full list of nominees here.
HBO’s Game of Thrones looks to retain the Best Drama category and leads with 23 overall nominations, followed by FX’s The People v. O.J. Simpson (22), and FX’s Fargo with 18 nominations. Notable newcomers include ABC’s sophomore Black-ish for Best Comedy, joining the likes of Veep, Modern Family, and Aziz Ansari’s Master of None.
USA Network’s Mr. Robot crept up into the Best Drama category, competing with the likes of Thrones, Better Call Saul, House of Cards, and The Americans.
