Another 90s TV reboot? “You got it dude!”
Variety is reporting that Warner Bros. are in the very early stages of reviving the classic TV series ‘Full House’. They say John Stamos is spearheading the project with series creator Jeff Franklin and executive producer Bob Boyett.
‘Full House’ originally ran from 1987 to 1995 on ABC and starred Stamos with Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Laughlin and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Nick at Nite has reported that the repeats of the show still average 1.5 million viewers an episode.
‘Boy Meets World’, another ABC classic, was also recently revived for a spin off. ‘Girl Meets World’ airs on Disney Channel and has posted some decent numbers for the network which have sparked the interest for ‘Full House’.
No word if any of the original cast will return to the series.
