DJ Jazzy Jeff has announced that he will be throwing a virtual block party to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The block party will feature hour long DJ sets from DJ Jazzy Jeff, Just Blaze and DJ D-Nice.
In addition to hosting a twelve hour long block party, the famed DJ will be launching a special collection of show themed merchandise. Proceeds from the ten piece collection will go towards No Kid Hungry. The non-profit organization seeks to provide healthy meals to children impacted by the pandemic.

“The idea came up that it would be cool to do a block party with not just me DJ-ing,” the legendary DJ told Rolling Stone.
“So I called up some of my friends and said, “let’s make this an all-day thing;” let’s stay in the house, cook some food, make some drinks, and dance in the kitchen together,” he added.
The virtual block party will kick-off via Instagram Live on May 9, 2020.
