Max B is back home and he’s wasting no time.
Over the holiday weekend, French Montana shared a video of himself reuniting with his longtime friend and collaborator, Max B, after the latter was released after serving 16 years in prison. Along with the video, French Montana wrote, “Coke Wave “NARCOS” 3.5 – January 9th 2026. COKE WAVY SEASON BACK IN EFFECT.”
French Montana and Max B’s Coke Wave mixtape series dates back more than a decade, with the first two projects released in 2009. A decade later, the fourth installment was released, seemingly skipping over part three. However, the latest announcement from French Montana indicates that the two may be doubling back now that Max B is back home.
However, Max B isn’t stopping there. On December 3, 2025, he is set to release Public Domain 7: The First Purge. Following the release of his new single, “No More Tricks,” over the holiday weekend, the 24-track project will serve as the first project of his to hit streaming services since Negro Spirituals in 2021. Not to be forgotten, the New York native also has three shows set up in Boston and Brooklyn over the next two months.
