Freddie Gibbs dropped one of the best albums of 2019 when he released Bandana with Madlib. A year later, it looks like he’s here to follow-up the critically acclaimed project with another project featuring a highly respected producer.
It appears that Freddie Gibbs is gearing up to release a new project this Friday with Alchemist. To kick things off, he’s reportedly dropping a single called “Scottie Beam” with Rick Ross on Thursday.
Heard one of the best rap albums of the year this weekend. (You’ll get to hear it on Friday.)

Things started to take shape earlier this week when a fan decided to use Shazam to identify some of the snippets Gibbs had been playing on Instagram. Slowly, but surely the app began to turn up results for the songs the rapper was previewing. After a while, it became clear that Gibbs had something planned.
As of now, it appears that the project will feature Alchemist, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine and Rick Ross. Be on the lookout for the first single, “Scottie Beam” featuring Rick Ross, on Thursday at noon.
