The Chicago Bulls are not a good basketball team. That’s pretty clear. They’re young, inexperienced, and just not good. They’re currently 2-9, which is the third-worst record in the NBA, behind only the Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks. According to head coach Fred Hoiberg, though, they try harder in practice!
Hoiberg: Right now, we’re playing harder in practices than games. That has to change.

Yep, so, that’s not a good sign. I mean, it’s nice that they’re embracing the spirit of the tank, right? Except, they’re not the ones who are supposed to try to tank. The front office put together a tanking roster, and they’ve done a good enough job that the Bulls should be awful – regardless of whether or not the players are trying to win.
The Bulls’ players shouldn’t be playing harder in practice than in games; they should be playing their asses off in games to try to get better individually and as a team, so that when they finally are part of a roster that’s capable of winning games, they’ll be ready for it.
