Today, we learn another lesson about patience as Frank Ocean blesses us with some new sounds. In what has become a pattern since the launch of his blonded RADIO show via Apple Music and just two weeks after the singer gave us his Jay Z & Tyler The Creator collaboration, “Biking,” the singer has premiered, “Lens.”
Euphoric and matched with production that could easily have you drifting off into space if you listen close enough, “Lens” is another solid effort penned by Mr. Ocean. Equipped with intricate writing and word-placement, Frank Ocean’s almost robotic vocals are the major highlight here. Getting better, the blonde singer had another trick in his bag as he premiered a second version that features Travis Scott, which 100% works for the style that Frank presented. Allowing Travis Scott to make it a grand slam moment, the collaboration is one we thoroughly enjoy.
