He added that it’s an old injury.

It’s a shame he pulled out now and not earlier. Maybe the rehab would’ve been less than 2-3 months, the French still have a good squad and will go deep into the World Cup. For Indiana, this just adds to the problems really, hopefully he can come back for the start of the NBA season but that’s speculation.
