FOX is sending athletes, entertainers and journalists into space! The network’s new reality series, Stars On Mars, will feature Super Bowl Champion Marshan Lynch, singer Tinashe, former cyclist Lance Armstrong and former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey. Receiving orders from William Shatner, these celebrities will compete to control the planet via simulation.
“They must use their brains and brawn – or maybe just their stellar social skills – to outlast the competition and claim the title of ‘brightest star in the galaxy.’ The celebrities will compete in missions and will vote to eliminate one of their crewmates each week, sending them back to Earth. Cue the intergalactic alliances and rivalries,” the show’s official synopsis reads, according to Variety.
“Stars On Mars will send these famous rookie space travelers where no one has gone before and reveal who has what it takes to survive life on Mars.”
Other contestants include Super Bowl Champion Richard Sherman, Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, actor Porsha Williams Guobadia, artist Tallulah Willis, comedian Natasha Leggero and actor Ariel Winter.
Stars On Mars is set to debut on FOX at 8 p.m. EST on June 5, 2023.
